The Airbus Helicopters H135 (formerly EC135) is a premier twin-engine, light utility helicopter. Its renowned for its versatility, low sound signature, and advanced Helionix® avionics. H135 is widely used for emergency medical services (HEMS), law enforcement, and corporate transport. Featuring a Fenestron® tail rotor, it offers high performance in “hot and high” conditions.

Key features of the H135 include:
- Performance: Powered by two FADEC-equipped engines (either Safran Arrius 2B2 Plus or Pratt & Whitney PW206B3). Maximum speed of 140 knots (259 km/h) and a range of 342 nautical miles (633 km).
- Capacity & Configuration:Â The aircraft can carry up to 7 or 8 passengers (depending on configuration) or 1-2 pilots with a stretcher for medical missions.
- Safety & Technology: Equipped with a 4-axis autopilot and digital cockpit, it is certified for Instrument Flight Rules (IFR). The latest variants offer an increased maximum takeoff weight of 2,980 kg (6,570 lbs).
- Roles: The H135 is the leader in the helicopter emergency medical services (HEMS). Segment is widely use for corporate transport, law enforcement, offshore wind support, and military training.
